Felting workhop with Carol C from Cairns

A crowd of members enjoyed a very informative and productive morning doing a felting workshop with Carol C from Cairns on Saturday 23rd May. Carol is so much fun! Besides showing us her quick and easy method of felting on a baking tray with just water, soap and freezer bag, she encouraged us to eat as many of the chocolates she'd brought along as possible! We later learnt why. She wanted to show us how to trap the foil wrappers in our felting to give a bit of 'shine' to a piece!
