A New Year begins

Hi, my apologies for not posting more regularly, life does have a habit of getting rather busy in the second half of the year and I get carried along with it.
Fibres & Fabrics has had a big end of year, with a large Reef Exhibition and a Christmas Craft Fair and just because we needed more to do we renovated our meeting place!!!!
So I've  put some photos of our renovated space for now.  More will follow of the Reef exhibition and our other activites.
cheers
Annette

Still busy creating, but not posting. sorry

Hi, we as a group are very busy creating reef pieces, puppets, breast cushions, knee rugs and various other items for the community.
Below are some photos of the Puppet day we had to raise money for the Childrens Cancer Ward at The Townsville Hospital.

Just a few photos, Fibres as a group is very busy at the moment, creating pieces for the Reef Project that we are involved in. I have included the relevant information at the bottom of this post.  There are quite a number of workshops out in the community, these too are listed below.

Weave the Reef - Love the Reef
Join members of Fibres and Fabrics Association Inc. with
artist Marion Gaemers in a series of free, pop-up community

Participants will be guided in creating coral reef structures
