Embroidery Day.

Obviously, it was a hoot!

Christine writes: Embroidery Day was held on 21st May at Linda's house. There were seven of us in total (Linda, Thelma, Barbara, Judy, Janet, Marlene and I). Marlene and Thelma had a go at smocking, pleating their material with the smocking pleater, and starting on the embroidery stitches. Linda did the main teaching and I assisted.

The smocking in the photo is mine (Christine's), the embroidery is finished. It needs to be made into a needle roll.
