AGM today

The AGM was held today, mostly the same committee members as last year, just a few changes.  Jan C is now the Vice President, Judy S is the librarian.  Robyn B is the archivist.  Jessica W. was awarded her 25th year of membership certificate, there was a 10 year certificate to be awarded but that member is away on holiday. Our esteemed secretary was unable to attend due to an emergency in her family.
I think that was it, sorry, my memory is not so good today.  Below are some photos of the gathering.

Bookies group had a workshop today, run by Sue D., she taught us how to layer fabric, paper and leaves to create a new fabric that can be machine or hand stitched onto a book/journal cover.  Much fun and sharing was had, with some wonderful results from participants.
Bookies day is also ATC swap day, there were some wonderful artworks received and given.
Creative day was held on Friday 22 Feb, Faith taught participants mask making using self made felt, by all accounts a wonderful day was had, the results achieved certainly speak for themselves.

Christmas Craft Fair

Over the weekend Fibres & Fabrics had their annual Christmas Craft Fair.  It was a great weekend, with lots of chatting, eating and buying.  While numbers of visiting public were down a bit, given the economic climate that's to be expected.  Regardless, a good weekend was had by all so I've heard (perhaps nobody was game to say otherwise!)  I'll let the photos speak for themselves.  Just a note, the photos were taken early on Sunday morning before opening for the public.
