Wearable Art Parade 9 August 2014

A huge amount of fun was had at our latest event.  Wearable art that we paraded ourselves, there was a raffle, lucky door prize, cent sale, huge morning tea as only Fibres ladies can put on, and a large amount of laughing..    There was even a tap dancing routine....

9 July, Fundraising for cancer morning tea and show and tell

Hi, here are some photos of some of the fun we had for our Morning tea to raise funds for our sewing for cancer group..  A great time was had by all, Sue T. is the best auctioneer ever..  there are also some photos of some of the works that where made down at the Rockhampton Retreat.  Enjoy

Magnetic Island Ladies come for lunch...

Yesterday at Fibres we had the Magnetic Island ladies come over for their biannual visit.  It's always a much anticipated visit, with lots of catching up, chatting, laughing and of course eating!!  And I've forgotten show and tell.  Below are photos of some of the ladies with some of the show and tell.  No photos of the food, needless to say it was yummo and plentiful and a lot of us didn't have tea last night!
I must apologise, I neglected to get the name of the lady from Magnetic Island who did the show and tell. If someone can let me know so I can add her name to the photos that would be great.  I have been reliably informed it was Kitty C. doing the show and tell for Magnetic Island, so I have adjusted the necessary photos below.  Thanks
